Centered in Greensboro, The Old Mill of Guilford was founded on Beaver Creek in 1767 to grind grain for the early settlers of what is now Guilford County. Today, the mill continues to produce all-natural, stone-ground, whole-grain foods, just as it has for over 240 years.
This working gristmill and country store with the sights and smells of another era is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers a gift shop with a variety of stoneground meals, grits, flour, mixes (pancake, muffins, etc), pottery and crafts.
