DGI works every day as an advocate for downtown’s businesses and property owners, to attract new investments, and to promote downtown as the center for culture and entertainment. The organization relies on investments from individuals and businesses for operations. The 28-member board of directors is comprised of downtown business owners, downtown property owners, downtown non-profit directors, and representatives from city and county governments.
