Designed to inspire hands-on learning through play, the Miriam P. Brenner Children’s Museum (MBCM) offers a fun, energetic, and safe environment for children of all ages.
Located in downtown Greensboro, children, their families, and teachers can interact with more than 20 exhibits including the 30-foot-tall Neptune XXL Climbers and a half-acre learning garden called the Edible Schoolyard, which are each designed to stimulate children’s imaginations and provide educational play experiences.

Tickets:
- $12 per ticket
- Children under 12 months are free
- $5 admission from 5p-8p on Fridays
- $5 admission for WIC / SNAP / EBT cardholders
- No reservations are required - walk-ins are welcome
Operating Hours:
- Monday: 9am – 12pm (Members Only). The Museum is open to the public from 9am – 5pm on Mondays when Guilford County Schools are closed.
- Tuesday – Thursday: 9am – 5pm
- Friday: 9am – 8pm
- Saturday: 10am – 6pm
- Sunday: 1pm – 5-pm

Other Tips for an Enjoyable Experience:
- Visitors are welcome to bring in outside food and drink.
- All food and drink can be enjoyed in Snack Shack and on Nannie’s Patio.
- No food or drinks (except for water) are allowed in play areas.
- Vending machines are available in Snack Shack.
- Parking:
- Convenient and free parking is available to MBCM visitors and members in our adjacent Museum parking lot.
- If the lot is full, parking is also available along Church Street (parking meters).
- Parking is also available across the street in the Church Street Parking Deck (The first hour of parking is free and each additional hour is 75 cents. Parking is free on weekends).
- Handicap parking is available in the Museum parking lot.
- Visitors will receive an admissions sticker that will allow them to leave and re-enter the Museum. (This admissions sticker is only valid for the day you purchased your ticket).
