Explore a National Historic Landmark in Greensboro, one of America’s most innovative and influential homes! The beginning of Romanticism in America and the progressive ideals of Governor John Motley Morehead are represented through the architecture, decorative arts, and history of Blandwood.
The house is a prototype for the Italianate style, one of America’s most popular architectural genres of the nineteenth century. The museum features a collection of period furnishings and art, including notable pieces that are original to the house. A project of nonprofit Preservation Greensboro.
