With parking, paved walking trails, an inclusive playground, lighted multipurpose fields, restrooms and picnic shelters, Heritage Farm Park is a work in progress phasing in additional sports courts for the future. The park's development was partially funded by an NC Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) matching grant to help defray construction costs. Also on site is the Veterans Honor Green, a memorial dedicated to honoring members of our nation's military forces. This memorial is funded by generous donations and matching funds from the Town of Oak Ridge: Veterans Honor Green
Full completion of the park is anticipated in 2025
