A $94M state-of-the-art performing arts facility, the Tanger Center has transformed downtown Greensboro since its opening in September of 2021. The venue has hosted a diverse array of events, from touring Broadway productions and concerts to Guilford College's Bryan Series, Greensboro Symphony Orchestra performances, hilarious comedians, and family shows.
The Tanger Center’s success has been anchored by its First Bank Broadway Series, presented with industry partners The Nederlander Organization and Professional Facilities Management, Inc. Currently in its third season, the series boasts over 17,300 members and has included numerous sold-out engagements over the past two years including blockbusters WICKED, Disney’s The Lion King, and HAMILTON.
A diverse lineup of Tanger Center concerts has been highlighted by Bob Dylan, Sting, The Temptations and Four Tops, Josh Groban, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Boyz II Men, The Beach Boys, Little Big Town, Smokey Robinson and Buddy Guy.
